Error Approximation Matlab Programme

Implement a difference method for the numerical approximation of the solution of the following the initial/boundary value problem:
ut(t, x) = uxx(t, x) for all t ∈ [0, Tf ] and x ∈ [0, 1],
u(0, x) = u0(x), for all x ∈ [0, 1],
u(t, 0) = u(t, 1) = 0, for all t ∈ [0, Tf ].
This is an example question from my lecture notes but I can't really figure out the code for this because i am not sure what the exact solution would like for this IVP. Can anyone please help me with. I have got a practical test of matlab in class and the questions will be related to this. So can anyone pls help asap.
