Why do I receive the error "Order number not found" when I try to download the MATLAB Student Version?

I logged in to MathWorks.com and clicked the download link under the order number for R2008b Student Version, but it gives me the error

ERROR: Order number not found

I would like to know how I can download my MATLAB R2008b Student Version.

This error can occur if you have changed your email address since placing the order for MATLAB.

If you have changed your email address, follow these instructions to change your email address back to the original address:

1. Log in to MathWorks.com here:

https://www.mathworks.com/accesslogin/login.do

2. Click "My Account" in the upper right hand corner.

3. Click on the link to "Edit Profile" in the list on the left side.

4. Change the email address to the address you were using when you ordered the MATLAB Student Version.

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Submit to make the changes.

Once you change the email address, you should be able to download MATLAB. If you are still unable to download, contact Installation support here:
