Simscape model of an H-Bot plotter (simplified) using Pulley blocks
This Simscape model represents a simplified simulation of an H-Bot plotter, a type of CNC machine used for precise 2D motion control.
This model aims to capture the essential simscape modeling of the H-Bot system, providing a foundation for future controller integration and testing.
H-Bot Mechanism:
- The H-Bot design uses a single belt arranged in an "H" shape to control the movement of the gantry (the part that holds the tool or pen). This allows for synchronized movement of the X and Y axes using fewer components compared to traditional CoreXY designs.
- The belt is driven by one or two motors, depending on the design, which simplifies the mechanical structure.
