Building MATLAB Apps with App Designer
From the series: Implementation
App Designer is a rich development environment for building apps. Sebastian Castro and Connell D’Souza from the MATLAB and Simulink Robotics Arena use App Designer to convert some MATLAB® code into an interactive tool.
Many MATLAB products have apps included and you can get additional apps from MATLAB File Exchange. You can learn more about MATLAB apps for different applications by visiting the MATLAB Apps discovery page.
Tools like App Designer and GUIDE provide you with an environment to build custom applications that can contain standard components such as buttons, check boxes, and panels. These apps can also be created programmatically, which gives you more flexibility in functionality. These custom tools can then be packaged as single-file solutions and shared with MATLAB users or as standalone applications using MATLAB Compiler™.
