Working with S-Parameters
Read multiport scattering parameters (S-parameters) that are formatted as touchstone files, and that come from instruments such as network analyzers or circuit and EM simulators. Inspect, visualize, and plot S-parameter data, leveraging the ability of MATLAB® to manipulate matrix data. De-embed data from test fixture and measurement set ups, and build arbitrary networks. For example, build cascading S-parameters with lumped components such as RLC elements. Check and enforce the passivity of data, compute group delay, and smooth data. You can also write files and automate analysis for large sets of data.
