When installing MATLAB manually without the Internet, I provided the File Installation Key (FIK) provided by the MathWorks. When I enter the FIK, the installer tells me that it is invalid. How can I install my MATLAB manually without the Internet?

This error may occur if you are installing a MATLAB release that is newer than your File Installation Key. Check to make sure that the File Installation Key that you are using is the one that was generated most recently. To obtain the latest File Installation Key, follow the steps below:
1. Log into the License Center here:
www.mathworks.com/licensecenter
2. Click on the desired license
3. Select the "Activation and Installation" tab
4. If the license has been activated, click on the Activation Label for your machine
5. Click the "Get License File" button once your activation details are retrieved.
6. Choose the release of MATLAB you need the File Installation Key for and provide the computer login name if prompted.
The license file and File Installation Key will be available in the pop-up window.
NOTE: If you are the Administrator or Asset Manager you may also retrieve the File Installation key from the "Advanced Options" button on the Activation and Installation tab.
If your File Installation Key is correct and you are still receiving this error, contact Installation support here:
