xPC target does not show the correct display on the target computer

3 views (last 30 days)
Dear All,
Today I finally manage to create the boot disk and try to boot the target computer. However, my target computer did not show the same display as shown on the xPC Target user guide. Instead, it shows a display as shown below.
Can anybody tell what could be the problem that lead to this?
This is what I have:
ON HOST PC
A second Ethernet card (Intel Pro/100 s) that is used to communicate with the target computer. The static IP address is set to 10.10.10.14, gateaway 255.255.255.255, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and installed with Microsoft Visual C++ 2010.
ON TARGET PC
USB-to_Ethernet card (ASIX AX88772) that is connected to the host pc using cross-over cable. static IP address 10.10.10.15, gateaway and subnet mask is similar to host computer, I/O card (NI PCI-6229)
CD boot disk is used to boot the target computer.

You seem to have booted up the target with "Graphics mode" unchecked.
Refer to the first bullet point under 5 at the following doc page:
The graphics off (text only) mode is useful for debugging but will not produce the target scope display etc.

It's suffix is "A" ,"B" or "C". "C" suffix can not connect.

Could you expand on that, Lise? What potentially has those suffixes, and what cannot connect to which?
