Why doesn't mech_import read my .xml files

Hello!

When I use the mech_import command I get and Import error message stating: "XML Read error" while attempting to read file "C:\<xml file location>".

I've tried to import multiple CAD assemblies with the same result.

What do you recommend?

The import command can only read XML files that were exported by the Simscape Multibody plugin for supported CAD systems. Make sure you obtained the XML from that source. You can also try reading in some of the XML files that are supplied with Simscape Multibody just to make sure your installation is OK.
