Cancelling a variation on a system composer component

Hello,
I am new to the System Composer environment, and I have investigated variant components.
There is a component on which I "added a variant", but after some more work and thinking, there is no need for a variant anymore.
The thing is, I couldn't find a way to get rid of the grey choice component, despite there being only one choice (in the end). It brings unnecessary complexity to my model, therefore I would like to know how to cancel the "add variant" operation.
I investigated Variant Manager, but did not find a solution to my problem; and I hope someone can help me on the matter.
Best regards.

Hi @Loic,
Right-click the variant choice that you want to keep and choose "cut", navigate back to the composition, then right-click on the canvas and select "paste".
Regards,
Josh
