Starting with MathWorks Service Host v2024.6.0.6, the size of the Service Host directory does not scale up when the user's home directory is shared across multiple hosts. All hosts will utilize the same shared directory of the MathWorks Service Host without creating a new unique installation for each host.
The Service Host should be updated to v2024.6.0.6 or newer on all online computers. Newer releases of MATLAB will ship with at least v2024.6.0.6 or newer by default.
If you need to manually update the version of the MathWorks Service Host on an offline computer, please contact MathWorks Installation Support.

The MathWorks Service Host may be installed and required between releases of MATLAB R2021b-R2023b, depending on your license. It is required for R2024a and newer releases.
Cluster administrators should also contact MathWorks Installation Support for any issues related to the MathWorks Service Host.
