I am using the development version of MATLAB Web App Server on Unix (Linux/macOS). The server can start and run without issue, and my apps work as expected. The "Open App Folder" button also works without issue.
However, when I click the "Open Log Folder" button in the management application, the folder fails to open. For example, on macOS, I get a popup with the following error:
You do not have permission to open the document "logs".
Contact your computer or network administrator for assistance.
Why am I unable to open the logs folder from the management application?

By default, the logs folder is only accessible to the Web App Server service accounts. In order to be able to open the logs folder from the management application, you will need to change the permissions on the folder to allow the user running the Web App Server management application to be able to access this folder.
For example, you may use a command like the following to open permissions on macOS:
sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Application\ Support/MathWorks/webapps/R2024b/logs
or on Linux:
sudo chmod -R 777 /local/MathWorks/webapps/R2024b/logs
