5G toolbox: Is it possible to capture other user packets from another user location? or measure the bit error rate, interference, etc.

I have two users, User1 and User2, connected to either the same or different base stations. There is downlink traffic being transmitted from the base station to User1. I want to determine if User2 can intercept this traffic or measure the bit error rate.

Hi,
In a 5G network, capturing packets from another user (eavesdropping) is generally not feasible due to the robust security measures in place, such as encryption and user-specific keys.
However, measuring the bit error rate (BER) and interference is possible. For instance, you can measure the BER by simulating the transmission and reception of signals under various conditions, including interference. This involves setting up the simulation environment, defining the signal parameters, and analyzing the received signal to determine the error rate.

I hope this helps.
