How to link sim mechanic with solidwork 2016?

Hello, i got some problem due to link the sim mechanic with solidworks 2016. I've install matlab 2012 and follow all the execution on how to connect sim mechanic with solidworks. Then while running the solidwork 2016, by selecting the add in tools of sim mechanic before start a drawing, the sim mechanic does not appear in the tools bar. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?,or any suggestion either i need to install the latest version on matlab to make this connection works?

The menu entry for Simscape Multibody Link is not shown in the SOLIDWORKS menu until you open an assembly. Try opening an assembly first.
