Hi, i would like to implement the simpowersystems VSC-HVDC system from the FACTS-Library in a model using phasor simulation method. The simulation frequency is 50Hz. Simulink pops up the error that the converter-bridge used in the hvdc-system is not allowed in phasor simulation method.
Does anyone know a way to implement a HVDC-System in phasor simulation method? Is this possible at all because of the DC-circuit? Or is there an abstract way to simulate the connection?
Thank you very much! Robin

1. You have to build a VSC model. The in-built STATCOM phasor model is a good start. You have to change the DC voltage power balance 2. The DC network you have to model as a state-space model.
I work on the same thing, but I encounter algebraic loops crush when I simulate faults.
