Why does MXLTOOL not start for me with MATLAB Builder for Excel?

I tried to start MXLTOOL for MATLAB Builder for Excel and it will not start. What should I do?

This problem is usually caused by an error in the installation process. Reinstall MATLAB and MATLAB Builder for Excel.
