Why do I receive error messages when trying to compile my model in Target for Freescale MPC555?

I use the legacy code tool to integrate some custom code in my Simulink model. This custom code consists of a couple of source files which I have specified in the MATLAB script which controls the legacy code tool S-function generation.
When I try to build my model I get an error message about missing:
[...]
# Specified file 'bin/CODE_WARRIOR/555/MY_FUN1.o' not found
However, when I build my model with ERT target from Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder just to create an Executable for Windows I do not receive any error messages.

Some Make-interpreters are case-sensitive, some are not. When specifying the source file names in the legacy code tool control script please make sure they are correct regarding upper or lower case.
The Make-interpreter shipped with Target for Freescale is case-sensitive regarding the file names specified in the makefile.
