I love MATLAB. I love teaching people to love MATLAB. I love it so much that I went to work for the people who make MATLAB. I spend my days at MathWorks creating material to help people learn MATLAB. Life is good. (My love of teaching MATLAB notwithstanding, please don't email me for help -- post a question to MATLAB Answers instead. Firstly, your email will probably be swallowed by my spam filter. Secondly, private consulting isn't in my job description.) |

I'm managing Embedded Targets development at MathWorks, leading an organization responsible for all aspects of software development: product releasing, software development phases, partner management, strategic planning of innovative solutions providing Model-Based Design for Raspberry PI, Arduino, BeagleBone Black, ARM Cortex-M, TI MCUs and other embedded targets. I created the MathWorks embedded targets development team in Bangalore India in July 2011 after 3 years in France and 2 years in US where I joined MathWorks as an embedded targets developer in 2005. Prior to joining MathWorks I worked as an embedded software engineer developing motor control algorithm for UQM Technologies. I hold a B.S and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Paris-Sud University as well as an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado at Denver.

Aaron T. Becker's Robot Swarm Lab http://www.youtube.com/aabecker5, https://sites.google.com/site/aabecker/ http://swarmcontrol.net, Aaron Becker's passion is robotics and control. Currently as an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Houston, he is building a robotics lab. Previously as a Research Fellow with Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, he implemented robotics powered & controlled by the magnetic field of an MRI, in the Pediatric Cardiac Bioengineering Lab with Pierre Dupont. As a Postdoc at Rice University in the Multi-Robot Systems Lab with James McLurkin, Aaron investigated control of distributed systems and nanorobotics with experts in the fields. His online game swarmcontrol.net seeks to understand the best ways to control a swarm of robots by a human--through a community of game-developed experts. Aaron earned his PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, advised by Tim Bretl. |
